Sam Baker is theSkimm’s Vice President of Commerce where she develops and executes the brand’s commerce strategy to drive revenue. With more than a decade of experience in digital media partnerships and commerce, Sam has been instrumental in driving theSkimm’s conversions across affiliate, product development, and e-commerce. Most notably, Sam spearheaded the rebrand of theSkimm’s commerce business into Skimm Shopping, which has included the introduction of dedicated commerce newsletters and the rollout of the brand’s 2023 holiday campaign. Sam joined theSkimm in March 2023 after working at Vice Media Group and Refinery29. Sam completed her undergraduate and master’s degrees at Quinnipiac University where she studied public relations.
