Tyler Chou is the Creators’ Attorney on YouTube and the founder of Tyler Chou Law For Creators, a law firm dedicated to empowering and protecting YouTube creators and influencers. Tyler also works as a fractional COO, helping creators earning six figures from AdSense and brand deals scale to seven- and eight-figure businesses by launching products like courses and consumer goods.Before founding her own firm, Tyler spent over 16 years as an entertainment attorney in Hollywood, working at Disney, Skydance, BuzzFeed, and major law firms like Loeb & Loeb. She was the lead attorney on 18 feature films, including Saving Mr. Banks, Cinderella, and Gemini Man.Born in Taiwan, Tyler immigrated to California at age seven after her family lost their fortune. Growing up working in swap meets, Tyler learned resilience and determination, eventually becoming the first in her family to attend college and law school. She earned her degree from Berkeley as an English major and pursued law to support her family.In 2022, after gaining experience as a certified business coach and leveraging insights from her time in private equity, Tyler launched her YouTube channel and her law firm. Since then, she has become a trusted advisor to some of the biggest names on the platform, offering both legal protection and strategic business advice.
